Title I Complaint Procedures
Title I is a federally funded program that provides financial assistance to school districts and schools with high numbers or high percentages of children from low-income families to ensure that all children have a fair, equal, and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education.
Any parent, teacher, other concerned individual(s), or organization(s) may file a complaint if the Title I local educational agency (LEA) program has violated any of the requirements of Title I.
You may submit your complaint - HERE. Once a complaint is received the LEA will investigate the complaint within five school days. The LEA will resolve the complaint within thirty (30) school days. If the LEA fails to resolve the complaint or fails to resolve the issue to the satisfaction of the complainant, the complainant can appeal to the Indiana Department of Education’s Title Grants and Support division.
