In February 2023, Officer Scott and Officer McKinney responded to a UTV accident involving a Whiteland high school student on campus. Because of their quick actions and applying a tourniquet they helped save a life. Chief Pryce presented Officer Scott and Officer McKinney the Life Saving Award.

Our police department has seven full-time officers with part-time assistance from surrounding local agencies. These departments include Whiteland, New Whiteland, Franklin and the Johnson County Sheriff's Office.

Security Cameras
Clark-Pleasant Community School Corporation has over 600 security cameras throughout the school district. These cameras are monitored by the Clark-Pleasant Police Department and administrators.
SafeVisitor
Each school is equipped with SafeVisitor Solutions to screen all visitors entering our buildings. SafeVisitor allows a government issued photo ID to be scanned against the National Sex Offender Registry. All approved visitors will be issued a visitor badge to be worn at all times while in the school.
