Ray Crowe Families:
All students, new and returning, need to submit a registration for the 2025-2026 school year by May 30th. Even if your student is currently enrolled at a Clark-Pleasant school, an updated registration needs to be submitted for every student for every school year. We currently have 34% of our students re-enrolled. The registration process contains essential questions and agreement statements that are required by state and federal agencies for schools and districts to ask all households, every school year. Use the link below to register your child(children).
https://www.cpcsc.k12.in.us/page/registration
After submitting your updated registration, you will see an email from us letting you know you've been "approved" for the 25-26 school year.
Please contact RCES office at 317-530-4018 with any additional questions.
**You may need to review 2024-2025 registration before you can do the 2025-2026 year**
If you live out of the district or RCES boundaries and would like to request permission for your child to come to RCES, the link to request a transfer to RCES has currently closed. If and when it reopens, we will send out an updated message. These are reviewed by our Assistant Superintendent each summer. PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME that if your child has been approved in the past that they will be approved each year. Siblings of current students may or may not be approved. Our class sizes and other factors will determine how many students are approved each school year.

Our family event will be Friday, April 25th, before school. (7:30-8:45 am)
We will have a Book Fair Breakfast, where students and their families can come buy donuts from the donut truck, eat in the cafe, and shop at the book fair. We hope you can join us!
**Please enter and exit through Door 18 by the gym**

Design a Donut!
The 5th grade at Ray Crowe has been working on a persuasive writing project about donuts. On Friday, there was a "walk around" so everyone could see their peers' delicious creations.

Our book fair will be here in ONE week! You can shop online now, set up a virtual gift card for your student to use during the fair and check out teacher wish lists at: https://literati.com/store/?school=ray-crowe-elementary-school-greenwood-us_in
If you would like to volunteer, please follow this link for more information: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0E44AFAA22A4FBC25-55722810-rces#/
I am also raising funds to support students who may not be able to purchase a book at the fair. Ray Crowe kindergarten teacher, Jaymi Adams, was recognized by the school board, Monday night, for being the first in the district at completing the Indiana Wesleyan Step-Up program. The program allowed her the opportunity to get her dream job; becoming a full time teacher., "Around the time I was completing my courses at WGU, Clark Pleasant and Indiana Wesleyan University introduced the Step-Up program, and I was selected to pilot it", says Mrs. Adams. Initially, the program was projected to take 2-3 years, but given her desire and ability to complete the process it took just under six months, Congratulations Mrs. Adams.
