Warriors Get "W's"!

Donuts with the Superintendent!
Dr. Edsell hosted some special helpers at his annual holiday donuts with the superintendent reception Friday. They are students in Ms. Bennett's "Bridges to Success Program", at WCHS. The students also help out at the administration building collecting recycling.
Dr. Edsell asked students what their favorite Christmas carol was and couple of the young men sang "Here Comes Santa Claus", for the group. The donuts as always were a big hit especially the ones with sprinkles.

BIG "W"!!!
Whiteland takes down seventh ranked Warren Central! Another big dual meet win for the Warriors!

What a fun morning! Today our Early College students were surprised with bags filled with treats to sustain them while they study for their upcoming finals. Thank you to Burlap ‘N Hope for creating our Whiteland Bags and thank you to Dr. Shipp, Mr. Brownfield, and our parent volunteers for helping CPEF hand out a little joy on this chilly day!

Clark-Pleasant Education Foundation is pleased to announce that Whiteland Community High School is the recipient of a $2,500 grant from Centerpoint Energy Foundation for Ready to Work. The Ready to Work program aims to create opportunities and empower individuals through collaboration with local high schools, community organizations, and employers. Designed around two main focuses—soft skills (essential skills training) and industry-focused training—the program addresses the skills gap for students by providing essential workplace skills needed to thrive in any company. Clark-Pleasant Education Foundation was thrilled to sponsor a breakfast for our Early College Program students Monday at Whiteland Community High School. Early College is a new program offered starting with our current Freshmen. Students in this program will earn their Associates Degree in tandem with their high school diploma. This program puts an emphasis not only on classwork but skills such as time management and networking. It also encourages the families of the students in the program to be a part of their journey. We had 3 parent volunteers who helped serve breakfast, and we want to give a big shout out to our food services team for catering this event. We are excited to see our Early College program mature and expand as our school system continues to grow.

The Bridges to Success Transition Program at WCHS dedicated the morning to giving back to our community by ringing the Salvation Army bell. This effort not only spreads holiday cheer but also supports those in need. Thank you students!!!

Clark-Pleasant Schools will be on a 2-hour delay for Tuesday December 3, 2024 due to slick roads.

Tis The Season!
Members of the WCHS Student Council recently seemed to enjoy spending part of a day off school putting up decorations in the high school lobby. It made the school entrance much more festive for sure.
