We’re a little late on this, but congrats to Jon McCoy on his commitment to continue his academic and volleyball career at Franklin College!

With their sectional semifinal win over Franklin, Whiteland Softball reached a new milestone with 400 program wins! The Warriors have won 11 Mid-State titles, and four sectional titles, and sent 36 athletes on to the collegiate game. More history is still to be written!

With their podium finishes, these Warriors earned all-state status! For Tori Jackson, she finishes her career having earned the honor three times. This is the second honor for Elnora Stevenson. For the rest, hopefully, this is the first of a few more!

With his sixth place finish, Benian Walls earns all-state for the Warriors! He’s the first long jumper in boys program history to make all-state!

From Whiteland Warrior to Morehead State Eagle to Florence, Luke Helton (‘19) has signed a pro contract in the Frontier League!

As if there was ever a doubt! Your 2024 Girls Track Mid-State Coach of the Year is Brandon Bangel!

Add another accolade for Drew Helton!
Helton was named to the Indiana All-Star team becoming the ninth Whiteland player to earn the honor. The last to do it was his brother Luke in 2019!

"Cool" Summer School!
Some 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders are in a reading summer camp at WES. The students get breakfast, lunch, a snack, and recess during the sessions which are 4 hours per day over 3-weeks. It gives students a chance to strengthen their reading skills.

CPCSC Retreat!
The CPCSC Administration Team held its annual retreat on Wednesday. This yearly event allows district educators to look at new educational legislation as well as other issues they might face in the coming school year. "It also gives us the opportunity for team-building exercises", says Superintendent, Dr. Timothy Edsell. "We are fortunate to have an amazing group of principals and department leaders who not only do a great job but are great people". Dr. Edsell says the focus of the annual event is on the students we serve each day.

Superior - Gold - Top 10!!!
Whiteland FFA is excited to share that the Indiana FFA Association has named our chapter a 2023-2024 Superior, Gold, & Big 10 FFA Chapter! This means Whiteland FFA has been ranked Top 10 of the 224 FFA Chapters in our state! This is the highest ranking possible bestowed by the state.
The chapter will be recognized for this achievement at the 2024 Indiana FFA State Convention this summer. The chapter will also now advance to the National level and compete against the top chapters in the country for a national ranking! We should know those results sometime in August.
Thank you for your continued support of our Ag/FFA program and FFA members!

District 9 Principal of the Year!
Congratulations to PCES Principal, Dr. Abbie Oliver. She has been named the district 9 elementary principal of the year! She is now eligible to be elementary principal of the year for the State of Indiana. What a great honor for Abbie!

Our CPCSC staff, community partners and members recently completed a Youth Mental Health First Aid training, equipping them with essential skills to support our youth's mental health. A big thanks to Nick Burks, CPCSC Success Coach, for sponsoring lunch. Together, we’re building a stronger, more supportive community! #MentalHealthMatters #YMHFA
