**An Evening of the Arts at BES!**
Break-O-Day students celebrated their Fine Arts Night at BES on Thursday evening. The event showcased a variety of vibrant artwork and included a Book Fair. Be sure to check out some of this fantastic artwork!

The BES student council members spent Monday morning writing encouraging messages on the entry way sidewalks for students to see. Messages and drawings encouraged students to try their best on the ILEARN test!

This year's musical was titled Jungle Expedition, Search for the Lost Relic. The musical was directed by first grade teachers Mrs. Ray and Mrs. Waggoner, and performed by 4th and 5th grade students. Great work everyone on an amazing performance!










"March is Music in Our Schools Month"
A BIG shout-out to all the CPCSC music teachers in elementary, middle and high school music, choir and band directors and accompanists. This year's theme is "United Through Music." Thanks for all you do for our students!


Break-O-Day students got an up close look at the stars & planets this week as part of their related arts rotation. Inside the portable planetarium, they heard stories surrounding a few of the most well known constellations. Then we zoomed in on planets in our solar system to get a closer look. We even moved forward in time to study moon phases. We all had a great time exploring the universe together!





Congratulations to Mr.Bockelman and Mrs. Helton. They are the BES recipients of "Teacher of the year" and "Classified Employee of the Year!"





It was a great night of Kindergarten registration last night at BES! We can't wait to welcome the class of 2038 for the 25-26 school year at the end of July!

The BES robotics team had their final competition on Saturday! They placed 19th and 22nd at the ST.Thomas Aquinas VexIQ competition. They had such a great season and we are so proud of them!

National Administrative Professionals Day 2025 is on Wednesday, April 23rd. This day, also known as National Secretaries Day, recognizes and celebrates the hard work of administrative assistants, secretaries, and other office support staff.
CPCSC would like to recognize and appreciate the contributions of administrative professionals in the workplace. Thank you!


National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day in 2025 is on the fourth Tuesday, April 22nd.
Why it's celebrated: This day is an opportunity to recognize the crucial work of school bus drivers in safely transporting students to and from school.
How it began: The day was established in 1981 to recognize the men and women who transport children to school safely. Here's a special thanks from Dr. Edsell. "A very special thank you to each and every bus driver for Clark-Pleasant Community Schools! Your adherence to safe driving practices, bus safety routines, and caring for the students who ride your bus is so appreciated! We absolutely have the best drivers!".

April 21 - April 25 is Public School Volunteer Week . It provides an opportunity for schools and families to honor and highlight the powerful contributions parents and caregivers provide at school and home to support student success. Thanks to all of our volunteers here at Clark-Pleasant who make each school day a success!

April 5–13, is National Robotics Week 2025! This annual celebration aims to inspire students in robotics and STEM-related fields and share the excitement of robotics with audiences of all ages. Thanks to all of our CPCSC robotics teams, coaches and STEM teachers for all you do to inspire young minds.
