Zipline Races at CPMS!
In Mrs. Evans' 6th grade Science classes at CPMS, students engaged in an exciting hands-on learning experience by racing zipline racers as they explored the Engineering Design Process. Over the past week, they learned, reviewed, and applied this process to build their racers, discovering that adding potential energy was crucial for success. Each class held a race to crown a champion, and nearly all students were eager to participate in the excitement by attending school!

The Clark Pleasant MS Brass Quintet received a gold rating for their performance at the ISSMA State Solo & Ensemble Contest on Saturday! Congratulations to Conner Sampson & Sophia Lambert on Trumpet, Stefan Milenkovic on Horn, Christopher Rodriguez on Trombone & Jack Diener on Tuba. This is a big accomplishment for middle school students!

ATTENTION CURRENT 8TH GRADE CPMS STUDENTS! Mark your calendars! Whiteland Community High School’s programs and offerings will be on display for incoming 8th grade students (Class of 2029) and families at the 2025 WCHS Showcase, 3-7 p.m., Wednesday & Thursday February 12 & 13, 2025.
The Showcase allows incoming Freshmen (current 8th graders) along with their families, to have the opportunity to tour WCHS, meet with staff and students, hear about all of the programs and opportunities through our pathways and course offerings (including AP, ICC, and Early College). Student clubs and organizations will be on hand as well. Whiteland is filled with so many opportunities that the choices can be overwhelming. This is a great time to speak to teachers and counselors about course options and check out the spaces where the learning happens! We will also have special sessions offering more information on the new high school diploma, class scheduling procedure, and our Early College Program. Please join us before or after your parent teacher conferences. The same sessions are offered both evenings so you can plan around your schedule.
Your involvement in your child’s education is vital to making their high school experience a positive one. We value your participation in decisions related to planning your child’s class schedule. A collaborative effort between parents, students, and staff is essential to the Warrior Way!
