CPMS students and adults participated in #ThankfulThursday!! What are ways you can be more generous in your life to promote wellness? Maybe donating to your favorite charity or giving your time by helping someone or volunteering. You could give your struggling friend an ear to help them through a difficult time. We challenge you to name 3 things you’re grateful for every morning! #gratefulwarriors #SourcesofStrength

Librarians are learners, too!
Nov. 17-19 Mrs. Kern (CPMS) and Ms. Smith (WCHS) attended the Indiana Library Federation Annual Conference in Indianapolis. Both CPCSC librarians attended many sessions, volunteered with multiple committees, engaged with peers, visited library vendors, and enjoyed a lively learning environment.
They heard keynote addresses from author J.R. Jamison and library advocate Mychal Threets plus featured speaker and ed tech trainer Matt Miller. Mrs. Kern assisted in planning the awards luncheon which honored the work of fellow librarians, and Ms. Smith moderated an author panel. In addition, they spent time with WCHS Alum Annaliese Hoffmeyer (18).
The Association of Indiana School Library Educators also met during the conference where members chose Ms. Smith as Chair Elect of AISLE which also makes her the Indiana Second representative to the American Association of School Librarians.
CPCSC is proud of Mrs. Kern and Ms. Smith for their hard work and dedication to libraries and learners.

CPMS Sources of Strength: We are promoting the practice of gratitude to help combat stress! Did you know that we can’t feel stress and gratitude at the same time? We challenge you to think of ways that you can practice gratitude in your everyday lives! Here are our Peer Leaders working on gratitude notes for other students! #gratefulwarriors #SourcesofStrength

Sources of Strength is one of many groups here at CPMS and this week is our Thankfulness Campaign!
Sources of Strengths is a group of students working to spread awareness about identifying your strengths to promote positivity, stress relief, and mental wellness. Generosity is one of the eight pieces of the Sources of Strength wheel that promotes these ideas. Part of generosity is being thankful and showing gratitude. This week check in with us as we encourage you all and our students to show gratitude throughout your day. #gratefulwarriors #ThankfulnessCampaign #SourcesofStrength
