Clark-Pleasant Community Schools remembers and honors the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Dr. King worked relentlessly to make things fair and equitable for ALL. Dr. King embodied the spirit of the Warrior Way - Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe!
This day is not just about reflecting on the past. It's about making Dr. King’s dream a reality in our school community today!
Here are some simple ways CPCSC Warriors can honor MLK Jr. Day;
● Read a children's book about Dr. King and how he worked for everyone to be treated equally.
● Listen to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr's 39 speeches to understand his important messages.
● Help create a community garden where everyone can enjoy nature.
● Leave little notes of kindness around your neighborhood.
● Make music or sing for people in nursing homes to bring them joy.
● Invite someone new or alone to sit with you and make friends.
● Volunteer to help others on MLK Day.

What a great final day before winter break! Today was filled with lots of fun, visits from special guests, and we ended the day with a whole school sing along! We wish everyone a safe and fun winter break! We will see students on Thursday, January 4,2024.

Just call these 4th graders STEM experts after their field trip to Endress+Hauser. The company hosted the 4th grade classes for a morning full of fun and learning. Kids got to code, build robots, learn about 3d printing, create a Lego assembly line, and even painted with pH levels.

Our Lost and found is overflowing! Please have your students check the lost and found before the end of school tomorrow. Any leftover items will be donated over winter break.

The student’s in Mrs. Ray’s first grade class had a visit from local musician Mr. Bryant (Mrs. Ray’s father) who took the kids on a musical adventure around the world. He showed the students different instruments from 10 different countries. They had the chance to play the instruments, sing Christmas carols, and even got to take an instrument home with them! Such a fun day in 1st grade!

Principal for the day! 3rd grade student Addison Kite, had the highest amount of candle sale during our PTO candle fundraiser. For the top prize, Addison was awarded Principal of the Day. Some of her duties included, greeting car riders, lunch duty, and she ended the day with jokes and a dance party. Addison also enjoyed a special lunch of her choice with Mrs. Shipp and Mr. Holzbog.

Thank you to the JCREMC for stopping by Break-O-Day today and donating, hats, gloves, sweats, socks, and underwear. It is greatly appreciated!

Mrs. Crow's and Mrs.Dell's kindergarten classes participated in a very fun activity! Students were given cookie and had to find ways to eat it without using their hands!

You're a mean one Mr.Grinch! BES students were welcomed to school by a very special visitor!

Students vs. the Kid Crushers! BES students used their warrior way tickets to purchase either to play in the basketball game vs. the Kid Crushers, or to be a part of the cheering section. The Kid Crushers once again walked away with the win!
